Questions, answered

Know before you stride.

The quick answers players and parents need before a first Power Stride treadmill session.

What is hockey treadmill training?

Hockey treadmill training lets a skater repeat stride movements on a moving synthetic surface while a coach observes and gives immediate feedback. At San Diego Power Stride, sessions focus on mechanics, power, balance, lateral movement, crossovers, recovery, speed, and conditioning.

How long is each session?

Each coached session is 30 minutes. The focused format gives skaters time for purposeful repetitions without turning technique work into an unfocused workout.

How many skaters can train together?

We can book one to four skaters in a session. Pricing is per skater.

Who is the training for?

Training is designed for hockey players who want to improve how they skate, from developing youth players to experienced athletes. Coaching is adjusted to the skater's age, experience, and current mechanics.

Where does training happen?

Sessions take place at San Diego Ice Arena, 11048 Ice Skate Place, San Diego, California 92126.

How do I book?

Email info@sandiegopowerstride.com with the skater's age, experience level, preferred days, and package. We train seven days a week and will reply with available times.
