The training

Better movement, built through repetition.

Hockey treadmill training creates a focused place to work on the details that are hard to isolate during a fast practice or game.

How it works

Coached from the first push.

A skating treadmill is a moving synthetic surface built for hockey skates. It lets players repeat skating movements while staying in one place, giving the coach a clear view of body position, balance, extension, and recovery.

Each 30-minute session is active, specific, and adjusted to the skater. Players receive simple cues they can understand and apply on the ice.

01

Assess

The coach watches the skater’s current stride and identifies the highest-value adjustment.

02

Adjust

The skater works on position and movement with clear, immediate feedback.

03

Repeat

Purposeful repetitions help the new movement become more comfortable and consistent.

What we train

Skills that travel to the ice.

Sessions can address stride length, frequency, recovery, balance, core control, lateral movement, crossovers, speed, and endurance. The emphasis changes with the player’s age, experience, and needs.

Treadmill work complements on-ice coaching. It gives players another environment to understand their movement and build the physical confidence to use it when the game speeds up.
